13th Annual Walk Against Hunger


The Walk Against Hunger brings people together to show support and help raise funds for organizations that provide food and other services to families and individuals in our region. Nutritional Development Services is proud to participate in this year's Walk as both an organizer and beneficiary.

NDS' Community Food Program collects food from Catholic parishes, church-related organizations, and other institutions, and distributes it to food cupboards and meal programs that serve people in need. NDS provides a way for individuals and organizations to contribute to the food needs of the poor throughout the five-county region.

NDS is WALK TEAM #8 this year, and will join the more than 100 other Walk teams on Saturday, April 11th.

Donations will be accepted any time before or after the Walk, AND on the day of the Walk!

Every donation of $25 or more automatically enters the donor into a raffle! Some of this year's Raffle Prizes include: Airline tickets and Gift Certificates, as well as passes and tickets to shows and events!

WALK

Encourage your family, school, parish, or community to join TEAM #8 on Walk day!

The six mile walk route along Martin Luther King Drive will feature bands, a live DJ, and dancers to keep you entertained during the Walk! (Restrooms and water will be provided.)
Buses will be available at the third mile marker to take tired walkers back to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. A short one mile walk is also an option.

The Walk is held rain or shine, so dress for the weather!
