Meals for Children in Shelters

Nutritional Development Services (NDS) helps organizations operating shelters for the homeless provide meals to children in their care. NDS supervises the food service and menus and provides financial assistance through the federal child nutrition programs. The institution prepares and serves the meals. At the option of the shelter NDS can also deliver meals to the shelter.

Currently NDS assists five shelters including those operated by Catholic Social Services, the Salvation Army, and The American Red Cross.
